The Sprinkler-Guard 5″ brings the original patented protection to big heads: large rotors, commercial pop-ups, and oversized spray heads up to 5 inches across. The flexible ABS is designed to absorb bumps from mowers, trimmers, and even snow equipment, where concrete donuts crack, break, and sink. The disc inhibits grass and weed growth so the head stays visible and sprays the way it should. Installs in about 30 seconds per head, no tools needed. One caveat: if soil and thatch build up over time (or the guard is installed too deep), you can still get some growth creeping over the top, but the guard’s purpose is to prevent growth around and into the head area.
